Need help sourcing new bottles

Postby Benjay » Mon Mar 28, 2011 11:02 am

Can anyone out there suggest where to go to buy 300 750ml bottles and closures (not quite a commercial quantity) in or around Adelaide?

Thanks

Hi mate

What I did is approach a couple of local hotels and they were willing for me to collect used empty bottles on a regular basis. Family, friends and work colleagues also helped. I have 25 dozen so far! I then sorted the bottles into similar shapes etc, had a label cleaning weekend... lots of hot soapy water in an old bathtub and a water pressure cleaner for the glue and a full bottle of my fav shiraz to help the day pass by.....

Screw caps are ok as there as is an assembly which costs about 50 cents per piece which seals the old screw cap bottles adequately.

hope this helps!
