What is it?

Received an email a few days ago that contained the following -

The vineyard is 116 acres of what we believe to be absolute prime McLaren Vale vineyards and is on the same region of land as some of McLaren Vale's most famous wines including D'Arenburg Dead Arm, Kay's Block Six Shiraz, Chapel Hill Reserve Shiraz, Mollydooker Carnival of Love, and Mollydooker Velvet Glove. The vineyard is currently just under 50% Shiraz and the rest is made up of Cabernet, Merlot, semillon and Chardonnay (the whites will get grafted to Shiraz as soon as we possibly can).

What is it? The new home of Mollydooker!

Looks like a very selective quote - which wine producer sent it to you? Pity about the chard, the 'Vale can produce quite creditable examples of it. Don't think I've ever tried a 'Vale sem though.

Possibly a new Ben Riggs venture?

In case you missed the prior thread, it is the Classic McLaren vineyard and winery, the fruit is some of the best in the Vales.

I obviously don't have a problem like daz with their intent to graft over the whites to Shiraz. ;-)
Cheers

Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)
